REM watch straps are made locally in Sweden. A watch strap from REM Straps is like a tour of the South of Sweden:

Tommarp In a small village on Österlen our senior designer has his studio. It is here that he develops the concept and designs for the watch straps. So far there are straps that celebrate the heroes of aviation and aeroplanes cars and racing diving and submarines and so much more.

Tärnsjö Our straps are made of the finest leather. At Tärnsjö Tanning in the village of Tärnsjö leather has been tanned and processed since 1873. The tannery is also the home of the only saddleryschool in the Nordic countries. Here our leather is tanned and treated with plant-based methods that have been tried and tested over time.

Nissafors In Nissafors in Småland we find Kallfeldts Leather. The company makes a long line of leather-products and this is where our watch bands are punched and surface treated.

Olofström Blekinge and Olofström is the home of Lädersömmeriet (Leather Sewing) where the straps are being skived by hand and getting its final finish. Lund In Lund finally the straps are sown with the colour of stitching of choice laser-engraved and finished in our own facility. The straps are given their unique serialnumber packaged and shipped off to watch-enthusiasts around the world. remstraps.
